Parkview Children’s Centre takes a Reggio Emilia approach to the early learning experience in our childcare and preschool classrooms. We also offer unique education programs, including a music program and french immersion opportunities.
We are proud to offer an Emergent Curriculum where our childcare Educators pay close attention to the unique interests and development of each child in order to create a curriculum tailored to their personal interests and curiosities.
Our playgrounds are unique and natural and we encourage risk-taking and exploration. We offer various provocations daily for all children to explore and expand their interests and learning experiences.
Our early learning centres are visually stimulating, light filled spaces that encourage children to use their own creativity to express themselves through multiple art experiences. We promote both visual learning and tactile learning through our activities.
The Health and Safety policies and procedures at Parkview Children’s Centre are in compliance with the Ministry of Education and Public Health directives. Our Health and Safety policies and procedures are reviewed frequently to address the day to day optimal risk management of childhood illness and other potential threats to the well being of children, families and staff.
Parkview Children’s Centre offers a healthy, nutritious menu for the children in our care. Our lunches and snacks are delivered daily from Wholesome Kids Catering. The meals are hot, nutritious, and diverse in nature, and the menu rotates on a monthly basis.
