Tim is a Burlington resident and was previously President of Parkview Children’s Center from 2014 to 2018. He has over 30 years of senior business leadership experience in the HVAC, Consumer Electronics, and Plastics Industries responsible for increasing shareholder value. Tim is currently the President of The Monarch Group.
He is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Management Degree from McMaster University. He has served on Advisory Boards for the Faculty of Engineering for over 18 years and is currently the Director of Rep Hockey with BLOMHA.
Lilian is a senior financial professional with over 15 years of experience of comprehensive finance experience in major corporations, where majority of them are Not for Profit organizations. She is a CPA, CMA and holds a Master’s degree in Economics. Lilian bought with her forte in Financial Planning and Analysis, Performance management, Data driven decision support to the Board and serves as Treasurer. A mother of two young children, Lilian is passionate about children and is a firm believer of giving back to the local community.
Finance DirectorJane Yan is a CGA, CPA and holds a BS in Psychology. She started her career as an inventory control clerk and is a controller now. Even though her major expertise lies in manufacturing companies’ finance management, she has never stopped developing and expanding her knowledge. During the past 10 years, she has volunteered for CPA Ontario, Richmond Hill Community Christian Church and Catholic Community Services of York Region.
In her spare time, she loves reading, blogging and networking with other professionals.
Sofia is a senior labour relations professional working at a major Canadian telecommunications company. In her role as Director of Labour Relations at TELUS Communications, she is responsible for supporting a large team of senior consultants who administer, interpret and apply a national collective agreement. She is known for her strong communication skills and her ability to bring a strategic perspective to workplace issues.
Sofia has long been passionate and dedicated to volunteering in her community and is immensely excited about being involved with Parkview. She believes in the mission and purpose of the centre and is looking forward to contributing to its ongoing success.
Sofia holds a BA from McGill University and a Masters in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University. She lives in Burlington with her husband and daughter.
As an HR professional with over 15 years’ experience in human resources management, Cindy Khimji is currently the Director, Human Resources at OntarioMD. OntarioMD supports physician practices in the selection, implementation, and adoption of electronic medical records (EMRs) and other digital health and virtual care tools and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the OMA. Cindy is responsible for leading the HR function for the organization. Cindy’s strengths include fostering lasting relationships, building strong work ethic, excellent understanding of recruitment trends and practices, and a dedication to building connections and initiating positive growth. Cindy’s continuous goal is to contribute to the area of human resources by building her knowledge through academic development, networking, and professional development.
Cindy holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, and an HR Law Certification through Osgoode Law School.
Andrea Milosevic is a senior marketing professional with over 15 years of experience working for some of the largest global IT organizations. Andrea is currently a senior marketing leader for a Toronto based software company with responsibility for channel and customer marketing program development and global events management. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University and a post graduate diploma in marketing from Sheridan College.
Andrea and her husband are Oakville residents and have two young daughters enrolled in the Parkview daycare program. Andrea is delighted to volunteer her time and contribute to the development and success of Parkview and the early learning childcare programs.
Puneeta has worked in the Healthcare industry for over 15 years with almost 10 years of recruitment experience. In her current role as an analyst with the Ontario Renal Network, she is responsible for supporting the patient centered care portfolio.
Puneeta lives in the Halton region with her husband and son. In her free time she loves exploring the outdoors and trying new culinary experiences with her family and friends. She is really excited to be volunteering at Parkview, an exceptionally supportive and nurturing community with an excellent team.
Amber is a Social Worker (MSW, RSW), whose childhood experiences, career in hospital social work, and private practice has led to her current focus on facilitating programs for children’s well-being. She is also mother to two girls who attended Parkview in recent years. Amber enjoys supporting her daughters, and the adults and children she works with, to grow through life and it’s stresses with an investment in self-awareness, self-esteem, self-care and the care of others.
Amber’s Social Work background and the strong relationship she had co-created with Parkview to meet her daughters’ special health/medical needs led her to assist in Parkview’s development of a staff Wellbeing Committee. Subsequently, in joining the Board, Amber is enthusiastic to further support an organization that aligns with her values in using socioemotional and nature based learning practices, and a foundation of collaboration with parents, to meet a child’s diverse holistic needs and interests.
Alongside professional and mommy life, Amber is passionate about fitness, running, mindfulness practices, nutrition, and creating a “zen” energy in her home!
