Infant Care
It’s never too early for a great start. At Parkview Children’s Centre, we welcome all children from infancy to school age to learn, grow and explore in an inspiring, supportive daycare environment.
Our professional team of registered early childhood educators and teachers have a passion for learning, and have developed a curriculum based on the proven Reggio Emilia approach, which nurtures your child’s development and celebrates their own interests and abilities. With its infant, preschool and toddler programs, Parkview Children’s Centre delivers age-appropriate play and learning activities in a setting which is inviting, safe and secure. Here, your child can expect to be treated with respect and kindness, compassion and care, and encouraged to explore the world around them through art and motion, storytelling and discovery.

The role of nature in our child and infant school programs is an important one, and highlights the relationship between people and their environment. Many Reggio Emilia activities at Parkview Children’s Centre, founded in 1985, include elements of nature and outdoor play when weather permits. In keeping with our philosophy that celebrates a child’s sense of wonder, most of the toys at our toddler and infant childcare facilities are geared toward open-ended play and include natural and foraged objects that are both safe and suitable for every stage. Instead of traditional testing, our focus is the overall progress unique to each child, developed through projects, cooperation, and organic learning activities, which permit children to learn not only from the teacher but from each other as well.
We value your feedback. Parkview Children’s Centre is proud to present an unparalleled toddler and infant school lesson plan designed to inspire confidence, creativity and growth, that welcomes your ideas and prioritizes the needs of your child. We value and respect the views and opinions of parents, guardians and children, and invite your questions together with suggestions regarding our multi-stage program.
