At Parkview Children’s Centre, we understand that as a parent, finding quality childcare and preschool programs for your child is a priority. You want a fun, safe and creative early learning environment for your children.
Our four early learning centres located in Oakville, Burlington, and Milton accept infants, toddlers and preschool aged children from infants to 4 years of age. We also offer before and after school programs as well as camps during school breaks and throughout the summer at our St.Gregory, St.Cecilia and Rattlesnake schools.
Infants learn a lot about the world around them through their senses, which is why exploration is critical to their development. Our infant childcare supports the sense of belonging, well-being and includes developmentally appropriate furniture and materials.
Through thoughtful interactions, our Educators form strong bonds with each child to create a sense of security that allows them to thrive. Our infant childcare Educators create a safe and stimulating environment while building trusting relationships that will optimize your child’s learning experience.
At Parkview Children’s Centre your toddler will learn by engaging in purposeful learning through exploration while building trusting relationships with our childcare Educators and peers.
Our classrooms support your child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our childcare Educators are trusted partners in play by guiding your child’s development and experiences.
Our preschool programs follow the Emergent Curriculum, where our childcare Educators interact, observe and interpret the interests of our preschool children to encourage further discoveries by planning activities and investigations that expand your child’s learning.
Through positive interactions, our Educators will encourage your child’s growing self expression, social skills and resilience. As a co-learner, our Educators will actively engage with your preschooler to nurture and assist them in problem solving. As a researcher, our Educators will investigate the unique interests or areas of growth with your child. As a documenter, they will track your child’s learning and growth within our preschool program.
All of these learning experiences will help your preschooler explore new things about themselves, one another and their environment.
Our before and after school programs are run through our St. Gregory and St. Cecilia Oakville schools and Rattlesnake Point Milton school locations.
We provide your kindergarten and school aged children with a seamless day in one location right at their own school. Our before and after school programs are designed for children between the ages of 4-12.
Your child will spend before and after school time making new friends, exploring new opportunities and developing healthy habits through our unique curriculum.
For our older children, the before and after school programs can be a place to focus on homework if needed. Interactive books, games, clubs and planned activities play a key role in enhancing cognitive development and inquiry.
Every PA day will bring a brand-new adventure. Each PA day the children will be able to explore and create with materials, create new games and collaborate on their discoveries.
Each week of the summer we offer a new focus and experience for your child. Making new friends and experiences will be the highlight of your child’s summer.
During our March Break Camp, children will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities such as art, STEM, sports and socialization both indoors and outdoors.
We offer a camp program during the New Year winter break. Children will explore different types of winter activities, crafts and science experiments.
